About Pete Van Nort
Peter Van Nort is an award-winning radio producer and state Hall of Fame broadcaster living in Fairbanks, Alaska. During his 45 years in broadcasting he has worn many hats: on-air radio and television talent, general manager and program director.
Originally from California, Van Nort lived in Nome and Kotzebue before settling in Fairbanks. He recently completed a documentary film on the historic 1967 Fairbanks flood and its aftermath.
